NATIONAL AWARDS:

The Patricia Elliott Scholarship
This scholarship was established in memory of one of the founding members of the ACNMP and is funded by the estate of Dr. Clifford Elliott, Patricia’s husband. It is awarded to Composition Students based on the recommendation of the National Composer/Adjudicator.

ACNMP Award
The ACNMP awards were established in 1998 to recognize the most promising performer of the festival. This scholarship is available to all Contemporary Showcase Festival Centres and is based on the recommendation of the adjudicators.

The Mary Gardiner Award of
Performance Excellence
This award has been established to honour Mary Gardiner - an awarded composer, pianist, educator, mentor, great champion of Canadian music and long- serving President of Alliance for Canadian New Music Projects.

PROVINCIAL AWARDS:

The Rachel Cavalho Award (Ontario)
This award Honours a founding member of the Alliance and it is presented to an outstanding chamber group.

 

CENTRE SPECIFIC AWARDS:

Samuel Dolin Memoriam Award (Toronto)
Samuel Dolin was one of Canada’s important composers and beloved teacher of many of today’s composers. He believed in each creator finding his or her own voice. This award is for Performance and Composition Class runners-up.
